Memory: My son... remember that I will always believe in you.
Day: 92 (patron event end)

Summary:

This memory is half headcanon based off of these page snippets. It's a memory of challenging a group of security NetNavis to battle. He does so in this case to fend off boredom (because fighting is a fun time killer of course), but as usual the other programs are too weak for him to really enjoy it and he easily tears through them. Why are these security programs so useless, god.

The scientists yell at him like WHY DO YOU KEEP DOING THIS!!1! He storms off, tired of their attitude toward him. Dr. Cossack pops up to ask what happened, and Bass vents at him, about how the other scientists treat him like he should be some mindless digital drone, he just wants a decent fight but all their programs are so weak and useless, how are they supposed to build a future for network society like this?? Cossack listens to him, and ends with what he says on the second page up there. Bass is mollified and a little embarrassed, but wants to show his gratitude.

"Thank you, Father."

Impact:

FINALLY ANOTHER MEMORY beyond just remembering how he was born. This is a bit of a jump though, so this is his first time remembering the other scientists as well as what role he was serving in SciLab.

+500 father dokis
+300 fight fight fight(ing recreationally is fun)
+100 wow fuck those other scientists. I'm my own person tHEY CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO
+100 weak security = destroy it and (theoretically) replace it with something stronger
+100 I have more feelings about things than I thought I did, huh.
